why use FREE SOFTWARE?

FREE SOFTWARE Free software is COOL and ROCKS. It took me a while to realise that suddenly ALL my programs I used were legal! 100% legal software running on my computers. Not many of my friends can tell that about their computers.

FREE SOFTWARE Free software you can install as many times as you want. You can copy free software as many times as you want (hey you even can sell free software). With free software you have access to the source code. So if there is a bug in a tool you use, you can either fix it yourself or hire a software engineer to fix it. Hey you can get free software gratis (for 0 dollar), thats cool too. That means you can upgrade gratis as well.

FREE SOFTWARE Visit http://www.gnu.org for the GNU project (the first place to go about FREE SOFTWARE)

As Linus Torvalds (leader of the free linux kernel) says: "software its like sex: its better if its free"
